Sunny Sun’s journey is one of growth, courage and reinvention. Born into a business family, Sunny grew up believing that life is full of infinite possibilities, a belief that has guided her from healthcare, to property development, to real estate leadership.

After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Sunny began her career as a Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner and acupuncturist. While working in the hospital, she also became involved in marketing and business development, where she discovered her passion for communication, people and creating new opportunities.

More than 26 years ago, Sunny moved to New Zealand to continue growing and challenging herself. Together with her husband, Kevin He, she began her real estate journey in Blockhouse Bay around 22 years ago. What started as a local husband-and-wife partnership later grew into a multi-award-winning real estate team with more than 16 years of strong results and recognition.

Sunny has also built valuable experience in property development, beginning her own development journey around 2008 and establishing a successful reputation in the industry.

After stepping back from full-time work to focus on family life with her young daughter, Sunny returned with a renewed sense of purpose. In 2025, she and Kevin became the business owners of Ray White Blockhouse Bay — a new chapter in the community where their real estate journey first began.

Creative, passionate and always open to new possibilities, Sunny brings many layers of experience, colour and perspective to her leadership role. Her vision is to build a team that lifts the standard of real estate service and gives every client a better experience throughout their property journey.

For Sunny, real estate is not just about property. It is about people, trust, community and helping others move forward with confidence.
